TaskRemind AI ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.
We use your information to provide and maintain the reminder and task management features, sync your data across devices, send push notifications, enable collaboration, process AI-powered features, manage subscriptions, improve the app, and provide customer support.
Most data is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage and is not accessible to us unless you choose to sync. If you create an account, data is synced to Supabase servers and encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS.
We do NOT sell your personal information, share it with advertisers, or use it for marketing without consent. We may share data only with service providers (Supabase, RevenueCat, Expo, AI providers), collaborators you explicitly invite, or when required by law.
When you add collaborators to a project, they can view and edit project tasks, reminders, and notes. Your email address is visible to collaborators you share with. You can remove collaborators or delete a shared project at any time.
You have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data. You can export your data, delete your account from the Settings screen, or contact us for assistance.
Our app is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
The app may request camera access for attaching photos and microphone access for voice-to-text AI features. These permissions are optional and only used when you explicitly choose them.
AI features process text prompts and voice recordings converted to text. AI providers may temporarily store data for processing but do not use it to train models or for other purposes. You choose when to use AI features.
We send local push notifications for your reminders. You can control notification permissions and preferences in your device settings and within the app.
You can delete some or all of your data without deleting your account. In the TaskRemind AI app, you can delete any individual reminder, task, todo, project, template, category, note, or attachment at any time. Deleted items are removed from your synced account and, once synced, from our servers.
Alternatively, you can request deletion of specific data by emailing us at taskremindai@gmail.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and listing the data you want removed. We will process your request within 30 days.
Items deleted in the app are removed immediately from active storage. Backups may retain deleted data for up to 30 days, after which it is permanently removed.
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time. To start the process, open the TaskRemind AI app, go to Settings > Account > Delete Account, and confirm the deletion. You will be signed out and all data associated with your account will be removed from our servers.
Alternatively, you can request account deletion by emailing us at taskremindai@gmail.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request." We will process your request within 30 days.
Account deletion requests are processed within 30 days. Backups may retain deleted data for up to 30 days after deletion, after which it is permanently removed.
Active account data is retained while your account is active. Deleted accounts are permanently removed within 30 days. Local data remains on your device until you uninstall the app or clear data.
Data may be transferred to and processed in countries where our servers are located. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted in the app, the "Last Updated" date will be updated, and significant changes may be announced with an in-app notification.

California residents have rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete it, and the right to opt-out of sale. We do not sell personal information.
If you are in the EEA, you have rights under the GDPR, including access, rectification, erasure, data portability, objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
